Policy & Terms

Late Policy for classes:

To ensure a great class experience for all we ask that you not come in more than 5 minutes late to class. For safety reasons, we will not allow anyone who has not been properly warmed up into class. If you are late to class you will be marked as a late cancel and incur the late cancel fee.

Class Cancellations:

You can cancel your reservation without a late cancel fee anytime prior to 12 hours before the start of your class. You can cancel on our app, our website, or by contacting the studio during normal business hours. Anything outside of that window will incur a $15 late cancelation fee.

Payment summary:

Memberships are billed in advance on the day of purchase and are automatically charged on a monthly basis. Memberships can not be shared. Members are required to keep a currant credit card on file. If a payment fails, your account will be suspended until your payment is updated and dues are paid. When you purchase a package, you agree to our terms and service (see below).

Waitlist:

If you add yourself to the waitlist, you are solely responsible for making sure if you get in or not. If you do get in but don’t attend class you will be charged a no show fee and a late cancel fee if you are unable to make the class and need to cancel within the 12 hour block. Please make sure to frequently check if you’ve been added as our system will populate automatically and its your responsibility to take yourself off the waitlist if you’re unable to make it to allow for other clients to take class!

Late Cancel Fees:

If you don’t cancel within the 12 hour window you will be charged a $15 late cancelation fee and your class will be added back to your account. We are unable to process refunds for late cancels.

No Show Fees:

If you don’t cancel and you do not attend your scheduled class there will be a no show fee of $20 charged to your card on file. We are unable to process refunds for no show fees.

Membership cancellation:

To cancel your membership agreement email hi@the-body-collective.com before your next billing date so we can be sure that your account gets properly canceled and no other charges go through. All outstanding payments must be paid for in order for the cancellation to go through. If you fail to cancel before the charge date of your next billing cycle your membership won’t be canceled till the following month. You can also cancel on our app under your membership or on our website. The body collective reserves the right to change memberships at anytime.

Attire:

We ask that you wear comfy Pilates clothes you can move in. Grip socks are required. We suggest a mat towel for our heated classes.

Credit card on file:

By placing a credit card on file under your account, the card holder and account holder give permission to the body collective and its authorized personal to charge the card for any auto charge memberships, late cancels, and no show fees. By enrolling in our auto renew memberships, you authorize the body collective to, on a regular basis automatically charge the card on file under your account for the associated membership or fees on your account in the billing due date. You understand and acknowledge that the body collective will initiate charges pursuant to this authorization not to exceed the amount shown above or under your reoccurring charges for your membership or in connection with any late or no show fees. It is your responsibility to keep your card current that’s on file.

Agreement to participate in the classes & assumption of risk:

You agree as a client and member of the body collective to be solely responsible for the safety and well being of yourself. By signing up and attending our classes, events and activities on the premises and with the equipment and facility of the body collective or affiliates you hereby acknowledge on behalf go you, your heirs and personal representatives that there are inherent risks and dangers in a group fitness class.

Release of liability:

In order to participate in our classes and access our facility you must agree to full responsibility for any and all injuries and damage which is sustained in relation to the classes and facility. You release and indemnify and hold harmless the body collective and its members, employees from any and all responsibility, claimed, law suits, costs, expenses and damage to the fullest extent allowed by the law arising out of or any relation to the body collective. You are in agreement that you do not have a physical or mental condition that would put you in a medical danger or haven’t been instructed by a medical professional to not participate in exercise. you agree to indemnify and keep the company the body collective harmless against any and all claims.

Lost and found:

If something is left behind the studio we hold on to it for one week. After that we will donate unless you need us to hold it longer. We are not responsible for lost or stolen property.

Freeze Policy:

Members on a monthly reoccurring membership can freeze their account once a year for up to 3 months with a monthly fee of $25 to hold your membership in lieu of your monthly membership fee. You must submit 14 days prior by written email to hi@the-body-collective.com with a start and end date as well as the reason for the freeze. Regular billing will start monthly after the freezing.

Photo and video release:

You grant the body collective the right to take photos for social media and marketing purposes of you and your property while you are at the body collective. You agree that the body collective may use photographs or video footage of you with or without your name on it. You agree to the security camera footage being taken in the studio to ensure the safety of our staff, the clients and the studio.

Teacher training:

Payment must be made in full upon registration in order to reserve your spot. No refunds are provided for the teacher training! If you are unable to attend or complete the training weekend then you can go into a following teacher training. Must complete the requirements to receive certification. If you miss any part of the training and you need to make it up you must do so by booking and paying for privates by a qualified staff member. You will have a month from the last training day to finish your required 10 classes, if they aren’t completed after the 4 weeks then you must purchase the classes to complete your certification.

Retail and Merchandise

All sales are FINAL, we don’t offer refunds or returns on our retail products.
